Hi, I’m Ryan Atkinson — 46 years old, lifelong car guy from Albion, Indiana, and a dedicated AMSOIL user and dealer since the early 2000s (with a short break in between, but I’m back because this stuff is simply that good).

I’ve been turning wrenches and working on vehicles since I was a teenager. What started as fixing up old beaters in the driveway turned into a real passion for keeping engines running strong and efficient. These days I work in customer service, but my garage is still my happy place — and AMSOIL has been part of it for over two decades.

One winter I accidentally ran about a quarter-gallon of straight gas through it before realizing I’d forgotten to mix in oil. I braced for the worst — but it didn’t seize, didn’t blow up, didn’t even complain. I ended up selling that machine later, and the new owner told me it’s still running strong years later. My Current Fleet & Everyday Use

Switching to Signature 5W-30 added another 1.1 mpg. Then a drain-and-fill on the transmission fluid bumped it up roughly another 1 mpg total. Small gains add up when you’re driving daily.
• My modded 2005 Impala SS — engine and transmission. Keeps that LS-based V8 happy under harder use.
• All my power equipment (lawn mower, chainsaw, etc.) — no issues, easy starts, and long life.
